As the cases of Covid-19 decrease in the spring of 2021, Ruby Bridges Elementary School, among the rest of 9,000 bay area public schools, is taking their first step on returning to normalcy. Starting March 15th, students have given the option to choose either learning on campus partially or remain remote learning. Upon one year anniversary of the pandemic, two students reflect on their feelings towards distance learning as well as the reopening of the campus. Their parents, who have been homeschooling their children for almost a year now, have something to say about their unique experiences.

The Multi-Purpose Room has now become a COVID testing site at Ruby Bridges. Students who are attending in-person class are encouraged to be COVID tested every two weeks.
