In the age of coronavirus, we all find it exceedingly difficult to find a sense of community and friendship. Day by day, we all look forward to the times that we can see our friends, go to restaurants, and watch live music. In light of all of this, four men had a plan to bring life to the world around them.

Coming from the Sunset District in San Francisco is a group of four musicians, Raymond and Jerome Porter, Dorian Cunningham, and Iam Bhisitkul, who have developed a strong community and a worthwhile experience for people to look forward to every week.

Calling themselves The Quilters, the four spirited men decided they would take their long term local band to the people of their neighborhood and give them an opportunity to see live music every Thursday from a socially distanced point outside of their garage.

With all of the chairs filled up, more people start to pour in from all sections of The Sunset to watch The Quilters play their wondrous sound. One neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous said, “their music sounds as if The Lumineers and Omar Apollo had a musical crossover”.
