In the age of coronavirus, we all find it exceedingly difficult to find a sense of community and friendship. Day by day, we all look forward to the times that we can see our friends, go to restaurants, and watch live music. In light of all of this, four men had a plan to bring life to the world around them.

Coming from the Sunset District in San Francisco is a group of four musicians, Raymond and Jerome Porter, Dorian Cunningham, and Iam Bhisitkul, who have developed a strong community and a worthwhile experience for people to look forward to every week.

Calling themselves The Quilters, the four spirited men decided they would take their long term local band to the people of their neighborhood and give them an opportunity to see live music every Thursday from a socially distanced point outside of their garage.

Coming out one-by-one, The Quilters give their live session and are more than happy to share it with the people of The Sunset. Raymond Porter notes that he is happy that the band has been able to “coax the community out” with their music.
