As the cases of Covid-19 decrease in the spring of 2021, Ruby Bridges Elementary School,
among the rest of 9,000 bay area public schools, is taking their first step on returning to
normalcy. Starting March 15th, students have given the option to choose either learning on
campus partially or remain remote learning. Upon one year anniversary of the pandemic, two
students reflect on their feelings towards distance learning as well as the reopening of the
campus. Their parents, who have been homeschooling their children for almost a year now, have
something to say about their unique experiences.
